About the event
As part of Hike for Healing 2024, Carolina Mountain Club will be leading several guided hikes. These hikes offer a chance to connect with nature and each other, creating a space for thought-provoking personal reflections and/or potential meaningful conversations about understanding and community building.
The moderate 4.9-mile round trip hike (813' elevation gain) to Lunch Rock traverses part of the Mountains to Sea Trail between Bullhead Mountain and Locust Knob in the Great Craggy Mountains, offering up wonderful views. There is a limit of 10 participants for this hike. Once that limit is reached, additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist until a hiker cancels or the hike leader manually adds the hiker to the participant list.
